About the workshop

chekkutooru (チェックツール) is a single, growing bench of small, free browser tools, the kind that only your own device and browser can truly answer. Anti-ghosting, reaction time, multitouch, display and color checks: none of them can be answered by a chatbot or a spec sheet, because the answer lives in the hardware in front of you right now.

Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, press, or touch is uploaded. The measurements happen locally and disappear when you close the tab. The workshop is built in the spirit of the shokunin (職人): simple, honest instruments, made well and given away.

The bench keeps growing. Keyboard and pointer tools ship first; color, accessibility, and display tools follow.
